We both have forces inside ourselves that compel us to various reactions.By struggling with our weaknesses is very modesty. some people find it easy to brand us names using the worst part of our weak points sometimes to our referees and places of work or in relationships.The worst!. Is that when you are innovative and you find that your boat is always leaning on one side because of some kind of dependency or attitude, it becomes difficult for one to make thing go through or meeting a deadline to a simple task when you let you competitor/foes learn your weak points.
Being a man or a woman, we have to sit down and ask ourselves why certain things do happen to us against our wish when we would have controlled them before they happened?
Ignorance sometimes leaves a big gap in terms of our performance because we ignore simple tasks and say that we will do them later while presently engaging ourselves in meaningless acts to fulfill our ego or to please our allies.For example, avoiding to write a simple report that should be submitted the next morning and you join your friends on a drinking party that you come back to sleep 3Am in the morning.First thing is that you will completely forget that you had an important task to do in the next few ours remaining.Secondly you will not decipher that 3AM is not another day to 8 AM: vaguely termed as tomorrow.Third thing is that you will not be able to intellectually argue out your points in the report because mental instability due to hangover and lack of enough sleep.Fourth is that even if you try to argue them in a reasonable manner and you still smell of the corrosives of liquor your manager or your competitor will say that "Ah that guy came drunk in the morning. Or he is drunk"
We should also get the strength in ourselves to beat our weaknesses when people are criticizing us when we are trying to do positive things in our respective places of duty. For instance not engaging in too much talk to convince people that you are doing good work.Rather keep silent and dedicate time to do the best you can in actions. In this manner your managers and competitors will run halter skelter, afraid you being the best of them all.
Spiritual guidance and reading the Bible is one of the best methods of pastime activities rather than watching violence or revenge movies that will eventually trigger your emotions towards negative acts or thinking.Remember that what you watch or hear greatly affects your mentality and actions unless the intention of your present circumstance is directly objective to a certain mission. For example watching PRISON BREAK Series as pastime rather than trying to understand the psychology of inmates or how technology works with inmates or substance abuse in prisons or corruption.Or watching a Kungfu movie to learn defense techniques rather than bullying your colleagues/mugging people.
Lastly is that we have to learn how to listen to criticisms and and ignore the object and pay attention to the subject to make ourselves stronger and better.Mingle with the society but walk with role models and leave a legacy behind just like the Lord Jesus Christ.
